For most of 2020 the Branch has been holding regular Zoom ‘drop-in’ meetings and we now need one or more volunteers to take over as hosts for the meeting.
The meetings are usually held about twice a month for an hour. Operating the Zoom software is not complex and the main duties of the host are simply to set up the meetings, to send out link(s) to members (or publish them here on this blog), and to make sure the waiting room system prevents any unauthorised access. It is not expected that the host should chair the meeting or take notes though of course she or he may do so if preferred.
Zoom runs on Windows and Macs as well as on mobile devices using iOS and Android platforms.
