We will be holding the next of our fortnightly Zoom ‘drop-in’ meetings on Wednesday 18 November 2020 12:00-13:00

Zoom meeting
A Zoom meeting in progress **

The meeting ID and link are shown below, and we have now disabled the password option which was blocking some members from accessing sessions. Our apologies for this (Zoom was creating a random password instead of the one the organiser thought he had created.)

As usual, the meeting is open-ended, with no firm agenda or minutes taken, and all members are welcome.

Please contact us if you wish to raise any questions but can’t make the meeting (ideally no later than 09:30 on the day of the meeting).

Topic: UNISON University of Kent Branch Drop-In
Time: Nov 18, 2020 12:00-13:00

Consultation on HE pay freeze

The ‘New JNCHES’ provides the collective bargaining framework within which most UK Universities operate. The employers’ side, UCEA, made it clear during the summer and in subsequent discussions that no uplift to pay spine points was going to be offered in 2020-21.

UNISON’s Higher Education Executive have elected to hold an online consultation to guage members’ opinions nationally, and this will run 03-30 November 2020.

Full details of the Thanks for Nothing consultation.
